Instructions for talk presenters
Each presentation in the parallel sessions lasts for 25/30 minutes, followed by a 15/10-minute discussion period (total 40 minutes).
Presenters should arrive at the lecture room at least 10 minutes before the start of their sessions to check their materials and devices. Presentations should be saved both as PDF and powerpoint files in a USB socket.
The following equipments will be provided: a PC with Microsoft Office, a PC projector with a VGA cable. If you need a set of loudspeakers with an audio plug, please ask the organisers beforehand. We recommend people to use the PC provided by the conference organisation. Presenters who want to use their own Mac need to bring their own projector connection.
Badges will be necessary during the conference, coffee breaks and the social dinner.
All coffee breaks will be served at the Asilo Sella. During the social dinner, you will be asked to display the social dinner ticket in your badge holder. The social dinner will take place at the restaurant Movida, via S. Erasmo 8, Bastioni Magellano, on September 13th at 21.00. A vegetarian and a vegan option will be made available for those who already requested it when they registered.
People can register and receive their conference badges, programmes, and abstract book on September 12th from 9.00 to 11.00, at the San Francesco Conference Hall. People who have registered for the social dinner will receive a social dinner ticket. For those arriving later or during the days of the conference, a SIFA registration desk will be kept open. Notice that during the invited lectures the SIFA registration desk will be located at the San Francesco Conference Hall, while during the parallel sessions it will be located in the Asilo Sella. It shall be possible to register for the conference dinner, as well as to renew SIFA membership.
