1. from the Station on foot (c. 400 yards), turning immediately left and following via Bonomelli to the junction by the railway bridge and proceeding straight ahead along via San Giorgio to the roundabout; the Economics Faculty is the modern blue-grey building on the other side of the roundabout.
2. from the Upper Town by bus (N 1A from Colle Aperto) or funicular (plus bus N 1 from the lower station) to Porta Nuova (the main crossroads in the Lower Town, recognisable by flanking pseudo-classical building) and then by bus N 15, direction Campagnola. Note that a single ticket is valid for 60 minutes on the buses and the funicular from the Lower Town to the upper (but not that to San Vigilio); tickets are not available on the buses but must be bought in advance from newsagents or tobacconists.
